Turning the Tables: From Housewife to Inmate and Back Again by Teresa Giudice and K.C. Baker

… The star of The Real Housewives of New Jersey has a hit with her new memoir Turning the Tables: From Housewife to Inmate and Back Again. … Giudice, 43, who was released from Danbury Federal Correctional Institution in Connecticut on Dec. 23 after serving nearly a year for tax fraud, has been making the media rounds to promote her book, including a spread in People magazine. And Then All Hell Broke Loose: Two Decades in the Middle East by Richard Engel

A deft personal account . . . a lucid, alarming overview of where the Middle East has been and where it is heading.”

Cure: A Journey into the Science of Mind Over Body by Jo Marchant

“Writing with simplicity, clarity and style, and covering an enormous range of material, [Marchant] surveys with grace what we think we know, and what we would like to know, about the mysterious and troubling relationship between our minds and our bodies… [She] is level-headed, always with one foot planted in the worlds of science and reason. Though open-minded, she is rigorous, her gently skeptical tone reassures, and she gracefully skewers quackery.”
